Why pricing is changing and why now

Atera last updated its pricing four years ago. At that point, the platform looked fundamentally different from what it is today.

Over the past four years, we’ve shipped over 100 major platform updates. We’ve moved from an RMM/PSA platform to a full AI-first IT operations suite. We grew from a platform used by a few thousand customers to one trusted by over 13,000 IT professionals. The platform you’re using today is not the platform you signed up for four years ago. It’s significantly more capable, significantly more intelligent, and significantly more valuable to your operation. The pricing simply hasn’t reflected that — until now.

How the numbers actually work for you

For customers who have been paying for AI Copilot as a separate add-on, the picture is straightforward: the add-on charge goes away. AI Copilot is now included in your base plan. Depending on your current setup, the net effect may be a reduction in your overall spend even with the base price adjustment.

For customers who haven’t yet activated AI Copilot, you now have access to it as part of your existing plan from your next renewal. No upgrade required. No additional approval needed. It’s there.

Your updated rate will take effect at your next renewal on or after June 1 and will be reflected in your billing cycle from that date.
